Art Boy 2010
My friend, the artist Verena Issel, had the idea to create a profitable piece of Art, a male pin up calendar. The photographer Kathrin Brunnhofer took the pictures, I made the layout, and we printed 200 sexy Art Boy calendars, which where practically immediately sold out. Luckily, the Textem Verlag published it and reprinted 1000 exemplars. So now, almost anybody who wants Art Boy 2010, can have it!
Until now, the ART Magazni online and print, Zeit Campus, Spiegel online and the MOPO wrote about the calendar. http://www.art-magazin.de/szene/23590/art_boy_2010 http://www.spiegel.de/unispiegel/wunderbar/0,1518,658324,00.html

My book Candie Coloured Clown, a collection of drawn dreams, has been published by the Mami Verlag in december 2008. The Hamburg based artists Birgit Weyhe and Gosia Machon where published by the Mami Verlag at the same time, so we did an exhibiton of our works together. It took place in the beautiful HalbAcht Gallery in Hamburg, St. Pauli. I presented Candie Coloured Clown as my diploma at the HAW Hamburg. It contains 184 pages and is printed in black and white.
I wrote and drew an article about industrial milkproduction for the HAW design students magazine NICHT JETZT#2. The main topic of the magazin is money. It won bronze at the Art Director´s Club´s contest Gute Gestaltung 09. See parts of my article below.
